How about putting all the moaners and people who leave early in one block?

end of the day, the fans who leave early are the ones who miss out.

So, nine times out of ten the result is the same once they've left as when they've done one, but do those who've stayed really begrudge them the handful of times that they've missed an Albion victory?

You walk out, you pay the price

To be fair, Chris McPhee was SHIT.

Shouldn't have been playing mind.

He was pants, totally light weight.

Needs plenty of pasta and some mstch practice.

You mean he wasn't quite Championship quality IN HIS FIRST GAME BACK SINCE SEPTEMBER? Good grief.

Yes I do and I would expect a better judgement from the manager.

Hart up front and Oatway midfield was the better option IMHO

I'm inclined to agree with Juan.

He isn't gonna be top dog in his first week back but all credit to McGhee in giving him the chance to get there.

Incidentally, for all those who hadn't noticed it's another 3 points.

I'm not gonna complain

I've never left a game early in my life - I just don't unerstand it - even if we're getting hammered there' always a chance you might miss a wonder goal...

Including Lincoln away in the FA cup last season when we were getting hammered 3-0 and the only goal was scored late on by one Chris McPhee.

Agree with Juan about the shape of the team. McPhee needs to be match fit and the only way to do that is to play matches.
He has bulked up according to McGhee he has put a stone on without putting any fat on.

Stick them all in Block A so they can moan away and leave early without getting in anyone else way.

We have scored 7 goals in the last 10 minutes of games this season.

5 of these 7 have been at Withdean.

6 of the 7 goals that we have scored in the last 10 minutes have changed the outcome of the game.

So we've played 18 home games and 5 of those have produced game changing goals in the last ten minutes. If I wasn't slightly hungover from celebrating our win against Millwall I could produce a % figure of the likelihood of missing a goal this season.

 Geez! Another pointless thread about a subject that's been done to death a thousand times before. Whether you agree or not, the fact is people HAVE the right to leave a game whether it be after eighty nine minutes or eight minutes. As long as they don't loiter in a position where they block the view of others then it's their choice. For the record, the number of games I've left before the final whistle I could count on one hand. However, if like yesterday and the Swindon game, people want to leave early and chance missing a vital goal then that's down to them. It's their funeral. As for Chris McPhee. McGee rightly wanted to keep the same balance and formation as last week. McPhee was the obvious replacement. Sure it was a gamble and it didn't really pay off. I stand by McGee's judgement on this all the way. As soon as Chris gets full match fitness he'll be a useful member of the squad. He proved this last year, scoring quite a few goals (eight?) during the first half of last season and being the perfect foil for Leon........

And it's snowing hard in Worthing!

A lot of people dont actually leave just go and watch us attack the goal near the exit...

for example yesterday there was shit loads of people who saw harty's goal down by the track and everyone was goin ballistic.

The main problem is the gound, I think most clubs have the same problem but its not so apparent as they don't wonder off by the side of the pitch.

Do the players notice the early leaves? maybe Race can answer that one, it must depress them sometimes, I feel its very disrespectful to the players, especially if the game is still winable/drawable

you can see everyone huddled at the side of the pitch with about 5 minutes to go,but you are concentrating on the game too much to let it bother you.i was just wondering what it must be like on the sidelines or on the steps leading down when we score a late goal like we did yesterday.has anyone had any unfortunate accidents whilst doing so?

I went down onto running track early as I needed to get a lift home.

I missed the goal as I was behind the dugout.

But seeing Mark McCammon's reaction to it was priceless. I have seen the goal on tv since.
