Whenever I get in 'til whenever I can get away. This can entail some long hours. Twice I've worked 48 hours without a break, but the worst was easily about four years ago.

Thursday morning to Saturday evening continuously, with about 2 hours of sleep grabbed whenever I could at work. I wouldn't have minded but I'd booked the Friday off 'coz the Saturday was my birthday! That was, to say the least, less than fun.

Overtime? Time off in lieu? Arf. No chance.

8.00 - 4.30 - I build up enough time to have a flexi-day a month. I prefer to start early and get home early. That quiet time in the morning before the phone starts ringing is the best for getting things done! I'm an early riser anyway, so it suits me! mind you, having to get up at 4.30 for Hartlepool is a bit early, even for me!

Worked in London for the last 18 years.

Up at 5am, Pick my lad up at 5.30am then drive into the city. work till about 3pm then head home. Home by 5.30pm the latest.

If I'm late it's because of road rage

Do around 45 hours a week but contracted to do only 37 - however a lot of work is done when travelling to and from London.

I'm off back to sea on HMS Invincible on Monday & I'll be doing 8 hours on, 8 hours off on the flight deck.
Mind you we're visiting Tenerife for 5 days in October then back home in time for the Turkey game, it's not all bad!
