Having booked a room with three beds at Jury Inn, Exeter, they have decided to f*** me about and now offer a double bed and a single bed. Now, after a few beverages who knows what might happen with my two male travel companions, but, I'd still rather the comfort of three single beds.

Anyone had any luck? Or got any suggestions?

Have tried using sites like expedia, laterooms, lastminute, etc.

I have booked a nice hotel, double room with en suite, flat screen tv, tea / coffee making facilitys ec etc, (No breakfast, but if we do want it will cost £10 for the 2 of us)...the hotel is on the sea front and about 2 miles from the ground (and it is a pucker hotel and not a guest house) total cost for the night........£29.00

We stayed in the Jurys at Exeter when we played them a few weeks ago....thought it was a good hotel...assuming it was the same Jurys ?

Hope you and Rose have a great time Tony. Wish I was able to get to the game, but I'm moving house next week and have much to do this weekend. Hope to see you both soon.

Yeah, would assume its the same. Got a refund now at least.

Sounds like you've got a good deal. Book early for that price? I did notice the hotels in Torquay are a big cheaper than Exeter, but as we are hitting Exeter HARD, we thought we might not make it back to Torquay...

You seem seriously insecure of your sexuality, take a sleeping bag if you care that much. Does the idea of sleeping in clothes in bed ith another man digust ou that much?

I wouldn't want to sleep in the same bed as my girlfriend after she'd been travelling for 4 hours, and drinking for over 10, let alone a fat male mate. But cheers for the concern.

Just go top to toe, it's what away trips are all about. I've slep in some right shitholes in a double bed with my fat pissed up snoring mate, although it's usually because it's the cheapest place we can find, mabye jurys inn is a bit expensive to justify sharing a bed :lolol:
