More likely to be that the tipster on the racing post website just cost Pevensea £40.

he got Kuster right in an earlier race though TVM

SeagullinKent posts a tip. We all have the free will to follow that tip or not - unless Pevensea and SeagullinKent are the same person (you may know something I don't here!) blaming somebody else for one's own blind faith in a tip is fatuous in the extreme. :shootself

There's a big difference between a 'Tip' and someone thinking a horse will win. A Tip generally involves inside knowledge (to an extent), and the latter is more based on being able to read form.

I managed to avoid this one - as it didn't seem like a 'tip' to me.

Only went on what I was told by a customer of ours who has a damn good track record. So I had no reason to doubt him.

From what i understand he put over £100 on the horse, so he must have been sure of himself
