Genuinely can't remember the last time I personally witnessed it, definitely reduced somewhat in last few seasons. I don't tend to stare at or even acknowledge the opposition fans much though but I do go to most of our away games. Also never standing close to the away fans so perhaps why

Maybe Leeds last season or before but can't think of other occasions
Leeds last year outside after the game. I was walking past the line of police when a Leeds fans screamed homophobic abuse at me. I challenged the policeman adjacent to do something, he refused to leave his line. I said if I grabbed hold of Leeds fan and smacked him one what would he do? Arrest me he said. I called him a few expletives and said he is just as bad as the Leeds fans. I clocked his badge number and reported him and contacted Leeds.

The response from the police was pathetic but Leeds were very good.
