They aren't too happy either. Party weekend in Brighton buggered!
I quite like the fxxk Sky chant idea.
Exactly they turn up every three minutes comparing with London services is silly.Funny I use to work in London, never had to queue for an hour to get on the tube![]()

What?I was going to ask if there could be a protest. Maybe fans take the seats after 7min or something?
He posted “quite a lot of us” TBFI probably live as far away if not further than most - it’s a 8 hour return trip on a weekday. On weekends it’s usually 12 hours return because of engineering, staffing shortages, bus replacements, no direct trains and on Sundays, reduced services etc.
When you speak for “us” living outside Brighton, please bear in mind you are not speaking for all of “us”. We are not an homogeneous group!
'f@*$ Sky TV' actually scans quite nicely to the tune of 'f@*$ VAR'Can we chant f@*$ Sky all game long? We used to sing We want Falmer. Don't remember Sky being there in the dark days.
Take my hat off to you. How many on here would go with a journey like that. I leave my house at 2.25 for a 3pm kickoff and get in my seat approx 2.50. However I still hate late weekday kickoff !!!I probably live as far away if not further than most - it’s a 8 hour return trip on a weekday. I think you've got the wrong end of the country. I mean Albion fans who live outside of Brighton, quite a lot of us travel over an hour for home games.
Saturday 3pm kick offs are much better for us, opposed to Monday at 8pm.

TBF he was referring to those of ”us” who ‘travel over an hour for home games’ - that includes myself. He posted “quite a lot of us” TBF
Only @Arkwright can say what he really meant then, sounds like one of us misunderstood the meaning of “quite a lot of us”TBF he was referring to those of ”us” who ‘travel over an hour for home games’ - that includes myself.
It’s not a big deal, just pointing out that public transport is shlte on a Sunday so for myself at least, Saturday or weekday matches are much better.
(I should probably add that I don’t have kids and manage my own work hours so appreciate many are not in such an enviable position that they are not so impacted by this - and agree that for a last home game of the season, it‘s pretty depressing for it to fizzle out on a Monday night!)
Aside from inconvenience for many I think you've nailed it with " fizzle ". Sunny Sunday afternoon clapping the players off much nicer.TBF he was referring to those of ”us” who ‘travel over an hour for home games’ - that includes myself.

At HTWouldn't put it past Sky to insist on the presentation being made in real time
Man City now play on Saturday in the cup final, meaning Sky now have a free slot on Sunday at 7pm.
do we have to give them a guard of honour now? How will our fans greet the scousers?
There are no 7pm games today or next Sunday either?Man City now play on Saturday in the cup final, meaning Sky now have a free slot on Sunday at 7pm.

That I wouldn’t expect a 7pm game to be played on Sunday 18t May or the BHA v Liverbirds game being moved again to that time slot as I think someone queried.meaning?
