It will be f*** all like a pub. "Pub" = "Public House". This is anything but.
I'm really not sure that this is what Prescott, or the other thousands of us, had in mind back then.....

You'll find that they are apparently all those gorblimey geezers who stood in the Goldstone North Stand for fifty years, went to Gillingham etc etc and who just thought they'd pamper themselves a little bit in their later years ie push it through the books of their limited company and hope it sticks

Calm down everyone; it’s just another bar they’re squeezing into the stadium. There’s nothing to suggest it’s in anyway exclusive, apart from being home-fans-only.

As for the extra shelf above the north stand. I think it’ll improve the aesthetics of the end.

Am I the only one a little gutted about the screen moving out of reach?

I thought the bloke banging the screen at the Liverpool game was quite funny and added to the atmosphere.

However knowing this fanbase’s view on drums in the stands, I imagine this frustrated a couple of people.

Reading that screen tests my contact lenses at the best of times, moving it up there is not going to help with that!

Apparently they will also get their own roped off queue for the train and a reserved carriage, with a trolley service.

We have always struggled at right back so this allows us to get more out of an ageing veltman (less space to cover and allow more close proximity shithousing

I really like this. Will make the North Stand look less bobbins and should actually reflect a bit of noise from the North back onto the pitch. Now all they have to do is not sing as quickly as an oompah loompah on speed and all together at once.
