Wales is a principality, Scotland is a country.

Not true. Wales is a country too. It was a principality, but that was centuries ago and it is only tradition that means it is labelled "the principality" to this day. The season Cardiff and Swansea and Wrexham (and Newport) played in our league is that it never was purely an English league. It was always English and Welsh. The goalposts only changed when the FAW wanted a champions league spot so invented a new national league, which is of course utter toilet.

Of course and them being there would attract better players and the money to pay them.

Silly argument isn't it ?

Of course it is. People seem to think because Rangers and Celtic play in a Mickey Mouse league that they are Mickey Mouse clubs. They aren't! They are two of the biggest clubs in the British Isles.

Whether the should be allowed to come south, I don't know? I can see the arguments both for and against. But its safe to say they'd be able to compete at the top level.
