I'd say it was Wilkins giving out these stories. He knows that if Knight sees them he'll suddenly realise that keeping him in the job isn't so bad after all.
 


There was a quote from Hollins in the The League Paper on Sunday, confirming that he has had no contact whatsoever with anyone at the Albion.

Despite the off field antics at Crawley I think Hollins has done a tremendous job with a threadbare squad. I think some of the credit must go to Alan Lewer his assistant. You would not want to face him in the dressing room after a defeat.

Anyone else heard that Wilkins doesn't actually want the job because he doesn't like the whole media side that goes with it, and would prefer to continue working with the players in a coaching rather than managerial role?
