he must have been interfering when 1st ball was played otherwise he would not have had the 10 yard advantage on the czech defence. but i see your point.

I know it seems a bit pathetic that they can regard that as not intefering but I suppose their trying to make things more exciting.

Gary said the official UEFA ruling says that it should stand and they're going to show something at the end of the program that explains it.

What an excellent game, well over 30 shots on goal, pardon the pun but it was football played how it should be.

I reckon we have just seen the Euro 2004 champions elect, both of those teams have just played between them the best 90 minutes of the competition so far, I reckon that they could beat any of the other 14 teams playing like that. England really need to up the anti if they are to stand a half a chance of winning the cup.

I voted yes because it was perfectly good goal according to the rules. The fact that the offside rule is a bag of shite is not RvN's fault and I would agree that it needs to be changed to something like if a player is caught offside in any attacking phase of play, he should not be able to contribute to the scoring of a goal.
