Surley Daughters insurance company will take on the claim and pursue the driver and if appropriate enterprises insurance, They should also pursue uninsured losses (the excess) as well. Once they have the footage, they should sort it all.
I was recently driven into by a car while cycling, which luckily was captured on CCTV, and despite ther driver saying it was my fault, once the insurance company had the cctv, they sorted it.
The police should be informed and also given the footage and they can follow any crime for not reporting and failing to stop., or due care and attention
