1. The progress of Wieffer and Gruda, both of whom I (and many others) had huge doubts over earlier in the season (must admit I had basically written off Wieffer completely). I think both will shine next year. Hopefully Matt O'Riley will continue to improve too, and we've already seen what Gomez can offer.

2. Adam Webster. Talking of players who were written off! In the form of his life and playing well enough to keep Dunky out of the team. Lovely to see.
Yep, all of this. For me it's about them having found a position they can excel in as much as their own development. Gruder is far better at '10' than on the wing, IMO, and Weiffer looks like he's played right back all his life. Will be interesting to see what happens when Ferdie and Rutter are back fit.

Worthing
3 good moments against Spurs, “Baldy,Baldy, what’s the score “ and” You lucky bastards, you should have gone down “at their place, and “2-0 nil, and you f***ed it up, “ at the Amex.

I feel the season was a good one but is missing one of these sorts of incidents for lolz:

Was right in front of him. Outstanding contribution.
This season don't think you can beat the delightful old Japanese fella
And obvs Mitoma's sublime control
And EVERYTHING about Georginio
Carlos bossing things
The jack in the box that appears in the technical area whenever we're defending set pieces
Webster showing what Webster does
That move against Liverpool early in the second half that ended with Danny shooting at the keeper ...
... Danny getting into double figures

Rice getting sent off for being kicked up in the air by Veltman was my personal favourite.

Man City flailing around in their penalty box at the Amex trying to get rid of the ball when Joao Pedro’s retrieves the ball with a long leg and puts it on the back of the net. I could feel an equaliser was coming but my first response was to laugh at the sheer hilarity of how it looked (and how inept Pep’s lads looked) and I hadn't stopped chuckling for long when Matt O’Riley took Pedro’s exquisite pass to win the game.

I have a variation on that.

The Arsenal fans thinking the Red card was for Veltman before realising that it was Rice. Perfection. The looks on their faces was priceless.

I also really enjoyed Anthony Gordon being sent off at Newcastle. Simply because no one at the ground knew he had been sent off and the amount of time it took us all to find out. I.found out on Flash scores. Pockets of people around me either counted 9 outfield or did what I did.

My tour of Newcastle Castle before the Newcastle league game.

It's a good thing you didn't get to tour anything in Bournemouth before the Bournemouth league game.
