I wonder if GP thought about the "Sacked in the morning" chant. He would never have got the boot from Brighton despite the boos after some matches and so many defeats in a row. And yet there he is listening to a chant that, in 12 months time or even May '23, could come true.

One for me was a genuine win over a 'Top' side, without an excuse being trotted out or 'playing them at a good time'. So many victories over the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Spuds, etc, have had *something* behind them, whether it was tiredness, midway through a dip in form, fallout with/from the manager, etc. None of that this time, just pure footballing quality on the pitch and being better than the other mob.
