If its not sold by tomorrow there is a chance of a points deduction and the other yanks losing interest, maybe thats what they are hoping for

I do not think the club will be put into administration.

Has the offer from the otrher chap Lim? been considered or will it be or just pushed under the table so that the owners of Red Sox can buy them.

This is what Hicks and Gillet are arguing more or less. They think the deal that RBS are trying to push through with NESV has been planned for ages (which it has seemingly) and that there are better deals to be had elsewhere, such as the Lim deal which is worth £320 million as opposed to £300 million of whatever NESV are offering.

most higher league clubs are owned by people who want to make money.
infact i'm sure that the new owners of liverpool are not going in to help the community but to help there own bank balance.

Of course they want to make money- clubs are a business these days my issue is with owners who are ONLY intrested in making money- as in our experience not that long ago.

Again this is according to my sister (and there for originally the supporters union probably): Mr Lim's final bid (the one that is for more than NESV) came in to late- a binding deal had already been made with NESV subject to the outcome of the court hearing yesturday. The earlier bid he made was for the same amount (they believe) as NESV but he has no sporting pedigree. Also I think I remember her saying something about him not understanding the process properly and maybe not having filled out the correct paperwork for the FA in time- but don't hold me to that bit.

I think RBS will force the issue and announce an ultimatum to Hicks and Gillett , let the sale go through by end of business tomorrow or the loan is called in leading to instant administration.

Yes, but there will only be a points deduction if RBS put the club into administration and therefore take control. I do get the feeling they are just acting out of malice now.

So does all this mean Liverpool are now a bargain at £270m? Actually forget it, this story has almost made me lose the will to live.

What seems clear is that unless the fans accept they are Premier League also-rans like Villa and Everton (which they never will) they are doomed to permanent disappointment without a new stadium.

Arsenal must make something like a million more every home game.

Yeah and they've won f*** All for longer than Liverpool and have a paedo as a manager:tosser:
