My old boss in my first graduate job was in Johnny Moped. He was only in the band temporarily for a few years though.

Dave Berk, who played drums for Jonny Moped, and also with Captain Sensible's band (and briefly The Damned), is the bass player in the band I sing in!

Dave Berk still does play drums with Johnny Moped last time I saw them, The Captain just was not good enough for the Mopeds and had to go off and form a little known band called the Damned, the same as Chrissie Hynde, (who was replaced by Slimey toad,) what ever happened to her!!

Nah. Croydon's finest ever musical achievement was a gig that I once performed at - the Albion Band at the Fairfield Halls. The achievement was selling the place out and not having the venue burned down.
