looking that way or a mid table finish is in the offing. A extension to an already dreadful home record could prove costly

I would take a crap performance but a 1-0 win in the 98th minute coming off Murray's right buttock!

I know its a cliche, but I think a team is going to come to Withdean and find themselves on the wrong end of a hiding. Leeds at Elland Road was always going to be tough, but we should have buried Cheltenham last week - let's make sure we punish Hereford.

It's not a must win as we could still be in this position come Christmas before making a late surge for the playoffs. It is IMPORTANT to pick up 3 points, but not a must win whatsoever

I disagree. I believe Hereford is a must win to kick start the season for us. Cheltenham and Northampton should have given us 6 points. Hereford is in my opinion cruicial.

on that note Mcshane in t5he 79th, I also agree that it is not too late for us to push for play offs. Look at palace the other season. Staring at relegation by christmas, then in playoffs by may. So on that point i do agree, it it not too late. However a win over Hereford is no doubt a huge moral boost.

A good win would be damned welcome though. I haven't seen one since last season.(Without pens)

Exactly, it is important, but if we lose/draw does that mean our season is over? No.

I don't think the fans can wait much longer for a win at home, and against a struggling Hereford side anything less than 3 points will spell trouble. I'd say it's a must win, not least because we'll by halfway through October and we haven't won since August!

bottom of the league team against team who are shocking at home and who's fans expect at least play offs, so would say its getting close to must win
