Henderson. He'll be worth more as an international.

Agoal keeper must be judged on his general ability to stop goals and influence the defence no on a few spectaular saves so with out a doubt the order is

Blaney
Henderson
Kuipers.

My concern with Henderson is that he doesnt appear to be as good now as when we had him on loan could it be the different goalkeeping coaches he is working with?

Wasn't he working with Keeley when he was on loan for us??

I think Keeley is a great coach and he hasn't let us down in the past. Keepers are bound to make more visible errors when they see a lot more of the ball and are under more pressure.

Perhaps this would be a good opportunity to pick up on Wayne's positives and show some encouragement. We have a potential Ireland No. 1 and we got him for £20k/£35k depending on our league status.

.

The ground work was done by the goalkeeping coach at Villa, I think that it is Eric Steele, but I maybe wrong.

Henderson shot stoping is good but his decision making is poor as has been showna number of times, very similar to when John Keeley was our goalkeeper!!!

And not unsimilar to Steele too, that's why Mosley who was less of a shot stopper was always first choice.

My concern with Henderson is his inability to catch a ball that is shot at chest height at him. Numerous goals have come this season from him 'pushing' the ball out and the rebound being knocked in.

His greatest asset is that as Ireland U 21 goal keeper we could sell him for more than we paid for him.
