If you're a member of the Albion site you can see the Reading one Brixtaan.

When asked what was the best thing about coming to us he said, "Playing 10 games in a row," and them waffled on about fitness and sharpness. Nothing about the fans or anything, idiot

I like the fact that he's "already shown Reading's new manager what he has to offer" - so that'll be the rare talents of getting outjumped by a defender the size of Leon, walking blindly towards the corner flag and falling over. It's straight into the first team for Darius methinks.

Striker Darius Henderson has already shown Reading’s new manager what he has to offer, after spending the last two months under his charge. Darius was on loan with the Seagulls until last week, and now he's back at Reading with Coppell in tow as the new manager until the end of the 2004/05 season.

Speaking to readingfc.co.uk, Darius said, "Steve’s come here and I think he’ll do a good job. He’s a quiet manager, different to Alan Pardew, but when he spoke it sounded right.

"When I was at Brighton, I was disappointed that the Reading manager wasn’t coming to watch me or to see how I was developing, but as it’s turned out, the manager was there all along."

And when asked what was the most positive aspect of going on loan to Brighton, Darius was in doubt to his answer, "playing 10 games on the bounce," he said. "I have never experienced that before. It was about getting my sharpness back and also not picking up any injuries. The team made we feel very welcome and I was very pleased to have done my part. "Although, I was a bit disappointed to only have scored three goals in 10 games, but I know there’s still a lot more to come from me in the coming weeks and months."

I tihnk its funny that he is happy asbout that, If I'd played like he did for my stay at brighton I'd be thinking well after that Coppell will no way pick me I may as well leave. I don't reckon Coppell rated him at all

You got the Best out of Rougier, we get the best out of Henderson.
Maybe when he was playing for us and being fed many many crosses a game by Salako, then we got the best from him.
Not exactly rocket science is it?
And playing with The Reading team is going to easily let you get more goals than Brighton isn't it??
:shootself

Not necessarily, a top of the table team is more often than not scoring more goals than their opposition, therefore the strikers who are paid to score those goals should find themselves with opportunities.
Leon Knight has scored 8 from open play while Chris McPhee has scored 3 from open play. If you try hard, attack the box and get in the right positions you will have chances, if you wander around, wait for a penalty and then grab the ball, you wont score. Simple

Henderson also spent most of his time at least 50 yards away from our other striker, thus ensuring when Leon laid it off, he was never in anything like a useful position.

He has about as much positional sense as Osama Bin Laden at a NYPD Annual Summer Picnic.

Would help his cause as a forward if he could jump more than 3 inches off the ground.
