Does anyone know whether or not Henderson is staying for a further month or not ? Even if it is only another month what will SC do then.

As Butler's move to Rotherham seems to have gone tits up, why don't we move for him. Decent record, experience etc, or am I being a bit overly optimistic.

Until we get a permanent strike partner for Mighty Midge I still can't get that excited about our long term prospects this season.

What does anyone else think ?

Ferret Talk on the official website (now daily!!) discusses Henderson today.

Pardew has agreed to another month but Henderson could be recalled at any time now that Butler has gone.

We definately have him for Saturday as Reading have no game (due to international call-ups ... incl Steve Sidwell)

Amendment to my first post - it seems according to radio 5 that Butler has nnow gone to Rotherham.

I still want to see another striker come in to the club, or should we give Carl Wilson Dennis a go ?

Being founder of the Carl Wilson-Denis fan club i say its time for him to have a go!!!

He has proved his fitness now by bagging a hatrick for Crawley on Saturday, time to bring him back...

Argus say he is staying and Wilson-Dennis and Marney are having another month at Crawley. Coppell quoted as saying Marney had poor pre-season but the loan move has done him good.
Crawley fans really like both Marney and W-D and would like them to stay. It seems they're in a class above the Doc Martens league, but are they up to div 2?

I can see Marney coming back and doing quite well for us give him another month or two to get his confidence up and he'll do alright for us

they are bother better off staying at Crawley for the time being as we only have ONE reserve game in the September

at leats they will be getting games on a regular basis

Good to see he is staying. I think he is still probably the best choice up front in terms of having a physical presence and I think we have yet to see the best of him.
