we have frogs, toads and the odd newt in our Garden so that would explain the lack of woodlice.

our frogs are still quite small ( this years model) so they struggle to get through a whole slug on their own.

Anyone got any ideas (sensible) of how i can deal with the woodlice in my bathroom?

Brand new bathroom fitted inc new extractor fan. All of a sudden i keep getting woodlice dropping out of the celing extractor vent that is over the bath. The venting goes up into the loft and out via an outside wall. Have tried some insecticide spray but this seem to only work for a couple days. There's no evidence of excessive dampness and the ducting tube is intact all the way to the outside wall.

Any ideas as the missus is refusing to have a bath and will only shower as she is in fear of a divebombing woodlouse landing on her head or worse!

do not use insecticide. many of the lice will still get through coated in harsh chemicals which could then drop into your nice clean bath and potentially poison you and your wife.

the outlet of the extractor looks like the problem. you may need to get one of those covers with slatted vents which open and close. the only problem is, you would have to get the ladder out each time you have a bath to open it which would be a bummer, although closing it would be more of a bummer because you will be nice and clean and warm from having just taken a bath.
