Help! Can't Post Photos From Me C: Drive

Know what to do, and how to do it. Click on a photo and it its pathname appears in the wee box at the bottom OK. But hit Preview or Post and the bugger just doesn't appear. It's leading to some sadly below-par posts cos y'know, there's no punchline

Is there some obscure setting I should be, er, setting?

Tom - I have had the same problem. I sent a PM to one of the mods (Artois I belive) who didn't respond.

Can someone explain what you're meant to do - and it's nowt to do with AOL as I don't have it

OK, I'll try but can't promise success! It sounds like you're doing fine, Mr Hark, until you hit the preview button. However, you don't actually GET a preview of an attachment and it's at this point when you can find yourself accidentally deleting the blasted thing! Try not previewing it at all but simply browse your hard drive, select the file you want, check that the box shows the right filepath to your picture and then just hit "submit reply".

Attachments can be up to 136kb in size and the usual formats apply - gif jpg png txt zip bmp jpeg.

I'm on AOL 7 and have been too scared to update it coz of the horrid rumors of the recent versions being shit.. glad I left it alone now as I've had no problems of late.

And the solution is - don't preview your post if you've attached an image off yer C: drive - cos it wipes out the image. Doh!
