Sod off.

I may not support Leeds United, but as a Kirkstall boy I sure as hell won't put up with this sort of shite. You're a disgrace to God's Own County, dave.

Oh no, bloody yorkies!

You can always tell a yorkshireman - but you can't tell him much. :jester:

Sod of yourself beardy. LOL

Anyone who has been subject to the whinings and ramlings of the nastiest racist bunch of gobshite, arrogant fans in the western world will know why everyone without fail from Yorkshire hates the hanging sheep with a passion.

I for one hope we stuff them on Saturday.

Champions of Europe...hahahahahahahaha:salute: :salute: :salute:

Starry how many Leeds fans will come down without tickets?

I am not sure, a lot of people say they are coming down (isn't there a live beamback in Brighton?) but whether they actually will or not remains to be seen.

Oh and Dave, nope I didn't crawl out a hole at all, nor am I am arrogant, racist, gobshite.

And thanks for the help everyone else!

Oohh the battle of the West Yorkshire boys. (Kirkstall boys :lolol:)

Dave, you're only supposed to fall out with Bantams.

But then again every other Yorkshire team hates Leeds :lolol:

I for one will enjoy seeing them at Withdean having worked with Leeds fans for years.

Despite living up there for 33 years I remain Brighton til I die :clap2:
You can do one as well.

:lolol:

I realise after reading your posts that I may have been a tad hasty in my tarring you with the same brush as the rest of the L**ds people in the world.

I offer my sincere apologies and hope you will accept them.

The Railway Bell is a nice boozer.

I refer the honourable gentleman to Zeitgeist's earlier post on the subject.

The only place I'd avoid is 'The Railway Belle' which has become a meeting place for the Burbury & Stone Island brigade after their previous bar next door was turned into a poncy theme pub.....

No worries, but there are a few decent Leeds fans around ;)

Am looking forward to tomorrow. Just hope its a good game, we've played some fairly dismal football so far this season.

And thanks you all for the pub advice and pm's.

You might want to tell your friends to visit an enchanting pub close to Falmer called The Hikers Rest, the locals are very friendly and if you ask nicely they might let you buy a ticket for the meat raffle:lolol:

They were joking about the Railway Bell BTW

If I were an away fan, I would look to go somewhere out of the main areas to be honest. At the bottom end of town by the Pavillion there are a couple of decent boozers, The Royal pavillion bar does decent beer ( or it did the last time I went there ...1982 :lolol: )

Get down the lanes Starry and see a little bit of the quirkiness of Brightons fair City. Font & Firkin is a bit naff beer wise but a unique building. Bath Arms opposite is Ok for beer. The Cricketers is a quirky pub (my fave) with history. Basketmakers (2nd fave) for excellent food and even better beer. A few theatre pubs round the Pavillion. Evening Star is nr the station and as good as you can get for real ales. Battle of Trafalgar and Lord Nelson also close, lot of nice chatty footy fans in the latter which is very welcoming.

The usual Yates and W'Spoons chains are about in the centre but not worth a toss in my book.
