Christmas considerations commence 1st December, activity usually mid December. It is, as has already been stated, a massively overblown affair.

I have some of last Christmas' lights up, and intend to keep them up all year.

Still, when I'm bored the last thing I'd do is go fishing ???

Christmas sales frenzy in August as quarter of Brits start their yuletide shopping earlier

According to above article a third of us have already started Christmas shopping, and another third intend to start their Christmas shopping before the end of September. Noticed in Card Factory over the weekend they already have one aisle given over to Christmas cards and wrapping paper, seems our insatiable appetite for Christmas isn't going to let Covid stop it.

:xmas:

Were you aware that some other people have started polls on here recently?

Have you complained to Bozza?

The wife is very organised, apart from the "surprise" present I haven't told her about yet we are pretty much done!
Just time to double up on everybody...

I completed my Christmas shopping in June.........1983!
I have a wife and two daughters. Going shopping is like buying a dog and barking myself

I'm hoping that the sole positive I can think of about effin' Coronavirus is that it will prevent filming of the Mrs Brown's Boys Christmas Special.

Then again, they'd just screen the last one.

I only start my shopping once I've seen the annual Xmas TV thread on here.

You know the one that's copy and pasted every year with Mrs Brown's Boys, Something featuring Rylan Clark-Neal, Tipping Point Christmas Celebrity Special, A League of their Own Lads Christmas Challenge

Oh and "Call the Christmas Midwidfe" :lolol:
