i have just rung the ticket office.

there are 300 tickets left from our allocation of about 3500

pretty good methinks for an evening midweek match with a more than fair chance of being treated like animals by the police or beaten up by them.....

We definitely sold out the initial allocation of 2,900 and the web site said we had an additional allocation of 900 tickets. So if only 300 left not a bad turn out. £30 is a rip off, but you cant miss this game can you?

My first ever away game was

12/3/1977 Crystal Palace v Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1 28,803 Division 3

my next was

18/3/1978 Crystal Palace v Brighton & Hove Albion 0-0 26,305 Division 2

7/9/1978 Crystal Palace v Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1 33,685 Division 2

The early home results were slightly better!

2/10/1976 Brighton & Hove Albion v Crystal Palace 1-1 27,307 Division 3

22/10/1977 Brighton & Hove Albion v Crystal Palace 1-1 28,208 Division 2!

It got much better after that. My bitterest memory is still the night Gerry Ryan had his leg broken. It was chaos outside afterwards.

Roll on Tuesday night

Hark now hear the Brighton sing, the Palace run away!

How much trouble are we expecting from the Pikeys/Met Pol?

Suspect the Pikeys will hide as usual, they'll hide behind the filth who will live up to their name typically.

I still want to know what we're going to charge them. Maybe we should charge them more to park their caravans.

BHAE, can I ask you a couple of questions?

How old are you and when did you first attend a BHA/Palace game?

Mine was the 3-1 win in September 78 if that helps.

As I said the other day - when I was shouted down and told that we'd sold our allocation - I think it is terrible that just over 3,200 are going. Christ we used to take more than that to Orient back in the bad old days in the bottom division.

It's Palace for fecks sake!

As for being worried about getting beaten up, are you having a laugh? We didn't hear a peep out of them last time, I doubt this will be any different.

Sort yourselves out if you aren't going - unless you have a very good excuse - and get a ticket before it's too late.

grrrrrrrrrrr!

To calm the nerves of our more timid fans can you confirm that itis unlikely that there will be gangs of your mob roaming the streets of Croydon thirsting for Seagull blood.
