Maybe we should connect this thread with the debt threads, and try and see a pattern.

I'd rather we're careful than be like Bradford. We're a good bet for a few loan signings, as the loanees would almost certainly get a lot of first team action. I'd hope we can sign one or two players on top of that, but I wouldn't be surprised if we only signed one (non loan) player before September.

I certainly would like to see loanees playing as hard as they can rather than expensive signings who can only throw us deeper into debt.

I think the back 4 are better now then two seasons ago, remember we lost Morgan in the close season and never really replaced him until we signed Blackwell (who arrived in late October)

We did'nt start to play well until Coppell brought in Sidwell and Bobby Z got back his match fitness.
