I think he just maybe has what it takes at this level, but he has never been given a proper run in the team.

Two or three times he's been on the bench, has been given some time to make an impression and has done OK .... then, just when you think he'll be given an opportunity in the starting line-up we sign some midfielders on loan, or permanently .... and he slides back down the pecking order.

If I was him I'd ask to go out on loan now to get some first team football (surely a Conference team would take him) and try and show Micky that I had potential to make it at the Albion.

Feel sorry for the lad.

With quite a few new midfielders now in, and possibly Kilkenny(?) (Don't know if theres any truth in that though), so he might get the chance to go out on loan.

Ive seen him play three times now from memory and in each of those games he has done a fair job,one to hold on to if he is willing to hang around waiting on his chance.

Send him out on loan to toughen him up probably a Div 2 side or Conference. If as has been suggested we sign that Davies on Monday he will become surplus to requirements here and not even get on the bench.

It must have dawned on Lofty by now that he is unlikely to be given a further contract so it will be in his best interest to go out on loan to get first team games in.

Sorry, have to disagree. Only a matter of time before Loft is returned to his natural level of the Conference (South). It was a disgraceful call by Wilkins to retain Loft and let Reidy go. And before that, Loft was a deeply shit buy by McGhee. No idea why he's survived the cull so long, but its never been deserved. Total waste of a squad number IMHO.

Only seen him play twice (possibly about average for an albion fan) and didn't think he looked out of place in a poor side
