Why do you have a problem with someone using the appeal process that is his legal right? The problem would be if he wins an appeal when he shouldn't. You've got to have a rigorous appeals process to avoid miscarriages of justice. He basically is asking for a second opinion. If the evidence really does point to his guilt he's not likely to succeed, is he?

Personally I'm getting tired of these knee-jerk right wing reactions.
