According to the Hastings united website

"Friendly at home to Brighton & Hove Albion confirmed for Tuesday 31st July kick-off 7.45pm"

Should not think it will be the front side

Hastings dosn't have a FIRM anymore.

If it did then the Charlton fans who run amok in the town last weekend might have got a slap or two.

Nice terrace behind the goal at Pilot Field though, good for making a lot of noise.

About time the date was sorted. Few jars up the Pilot Field on a Summers evening, and the usual banter with their Brighton hating fans. Nice to be able to walk to an Albion game though.

Oh dear will prob give this one a miss. Hastings is one of the most deprived parts of the country never mind sussex.

Hope their firm doesn't turn up.

Don't believe all you read mate. For example Hastings Old Town is a superb place to live, drink, eat, socialise, etc (resident for over 25 years) and has a good community spirit.

I can't deny Hastings and St. Leonards have some struggling areas in need of re-generation, must if you think it's one of the most deprived parts of the country you've obviously never done many football grounds in the midlands.

Ive done many away games in the midlands but that is what you expect up north. You dont expect a Sussex seaside resort to be littered with immigrants, street drinkers and women beaters.

I take it by 'North' in this instance you mean North of Sussex. ???

I think you'll find most Sussex (and Kent) seaside resorts have soaked up their share of settled err 'immigrants'.

Most Sussex (in fact British) seaside resorts have their share of street drinkers.

I can't comment on 'women beaters' as I cannot identify them as clearly and easily as you seem able to.

Much as these articles sometimes read badly in the local press, it actually heartens me that Hastings is facing (and dealing with) its issues, and these issues are just as prevalent whenever I'm in Brighton I can assure you.
