Agree on the Cairney front, too much $ however I've never really subscribed to the theory that you have to be 'proven in the Prem'. For example if we signed a talented striker from say Spain or Italy who has proven themselves in La Liga or Serie A then I think the majority on here would be delighted but the player would not be 'proven in the Prem'

If we were playing 15-20 million for a player I would want him to have Prem or top level experience. I rate him, he's probably 2nd best midfielder in the Championship but far too bigger risk.
