I took it upon myself to ask for posts which may or may not have been regarded as offensive to be taken off.

If that make me pious so be it.

Kinds regards.

slight overkill to delete the ones that didn't mention how fit I thought she was. Do you still want the sponsorship or what? I'm still WILLING TO GIVE HER ONE of my hard-earned £20 notes.

Buzzer anyone who knows me well will tell you I am about as liberal and broad minded as its possible to be so it does not offend me but I will be directing people to the thread who want to donate and offer good luck messages so posts about auctioning underwear etc I did not think appropriate. She may well have found it hilarious but as I do not know her personally and did not wish to take the risk and wanted the thread cleaned up. Nothing personal mate to you or Al. Yes please the £ 20 is very generous.

Where have my posts gone on that thread? I said nothing offensive and only ever encouraged people to make a donation.

And the most patronising comment "Here's the lovely Robyn" :)sick:) has been left in.

Not impressed.

This is getting silly now. If you think its appropriate for the thread for REMF to have a load of sexist comments then go ahead, feel free. Some people may not think its very tasteful if they go on it to make a donation and thats why I asked for it to be taken off.

If you think you can do better go ahead. I am doing what I think is right but go ahead and post threads if you want I'll leave it to you.

I refer these threads to outside people such as the Argus and people who are interested in the fund so I am uneasy referring a thread with sexist comments which are harmless I know but the person in question may not find them funny, I don't know, you don't know.

Do what you think is ok.

This is a great news story and I do not want to spend my time justifying what I did.

Post derogatory comments if that makes you feel better

Look the thread had comments saying she looked dirty and to auction ker knickers. You tell me.

I think it is perfectly appropriate that the thread in question remains very much 'on topic'. If, in the tidying up that took place, an innocent post or two were deleted when they should have remained then that is unfortunate. But it's all for the greater good.

Time to move on, I think.
