Losing out on a left back when we've got another couple on our radar (if rumours are to be believed) is a tiny set back compared to your manager walking out less than 48 hours before the season kicks off.

Couldn't agree more. Frustrating as the Ward saga has been, CP losing TP is a far bigger disaster for them than us missing out on Ward.

The football would be dour but he could probably get us up and staying their - knows loads of experienced premiership players that could bolster our squad.

As I said it wouldn't be pretty but this club needs promotion fast or we will go backwards
