As long as he doesn't just take only 3 strikers including a 17 year old school boy, like Sven MORON Erikkson did. :nono:

Maybe, if Zamora was 100% fit. But he isnt.

very well said, he one of the cf in form but he nees an op on his achillis (spelling) therefore theres no point in taking him as knowing englands luck we will put him on with 20 mins left at 1-0 down and he will pull up and we would have already run out of subs to replace him. i think its a very good squad tbh, just need to show faith in the players that are there as they are the ones in form atm and are best suited to do the job. just a shame theres no place for brightons own elliott bennett haha

mistake. not necessarily in not taking Zamora, but choosing Bent. yes, he has scored goals, but he has a team playing to his strengths and im not sure he has much adaptablility (hence why so shit at Spurs). i just dont see Bent fitting in to cover any of the others and doesnt over anything different like Crouch.

They have just mentioned on 5-live that Bobby turned England down, due to his ankle.

Im baffled how people can back Bent instead of Zamora. They all point to his 24 goals but my god they were all shit. He is not a good finisher if he can score an open goal from 3 yards with his shin. Also, he has nothing to his game.Bobby can hold it up superbly, win it in the air, finish with both feet and works hard. The perfect man to go alongside Rooney.

On the other hand, if Capello is to take 4 strikers, i would accept no Bobby due to his lack of international experience (this isn't his fault as he should've been chosen for previous matches)
