Been off work since Thursday, am still lying in bed feeling shyte.

This is the worst illness I have had for many years, I've had fever, aching body, sickness, the runs, and stinking cold all rolled into one. Oh and have no desire at all for food (most unlike me)

Had the sandpaper like throat and achy joints, been throwing up and have had bad guts over the last four days. Had the last two days off and contemplating tomorrrow too as I still feel very weary.

bollocks, woke up 4am tuesday with the urgent need for a throw up session. Finished about 10am and felt absolutley shite all day, hot & cold flushes headaches, bodyaches the lot. Been in a trance of restlessness since then and got a bad back to boot. Finally having a slice of toast now....first bit of food since monday evening.....bloody horrid and guess what, my boss is demanding a doctors note...wanker!

I had the dreaded lergy over Xmas/New Years. What helped get rid of it, (without it leaving me with some secondary infection that won't go away for months!) was the simple use of an electric blanket. I also had loads of chicken stew seething with garlic and hot sauce.
I cooked and sweated for 10 days, but I got rid of it.
