Mine started on 21 February 2006. 13 days later, nose all bunged up, and worn out. I have had worse colds, but its is particularly tiring.

Doxycycline antibiotics and Sudafed.

I expect some unlicenced chemicals might work better on the symptoms, but I do not know about these.

Sudafed (dual relief) 16 for £2.80, about six a day makes some difference to the nasal congestion. Pseudoephedrine + paracetomol (the price is a swindle).

Don't blame me if you still feel rotten, but I reckon I would feel worse without it.

If you still drink five pints and smoke a dozen fags, it will probably get neutralised, the drug not the cold.

I guess I've been fortunate. I felt bad with a 100 degree temperature a couple of weeks ago but was alright the next day.

I would NOT have been happy had you infected the Milkins mob when you came up for that thrash last week.

This is the worst illness I have had for many years, I've had fever, aching body, sickness, the runs, and stinking cold all rolled into one. Oh and have no desire at all for food (most unlike me)

Oh to feel well and get back to work:(

Yep, Im just about starting to get over this now, must be working its way along the south coast...
