has anyone had this Flu bug that's going around ?

Been off work since Thursday, am still lying in bed feeling shyte.

This is the worst illness I have had for many years, I've had fever, aching body, sickness, the runs, and stinking cold all rolled into one. Oh and have no desire at all for food (most unlike me)

Oh to feel well and get back to work

I tried to go back to work after just over a week, but only lasted half a day, the Doctor then signed me off for the rest of that week.

My missus and daughter have got it...........i've just missed a week at work with a bad back so i desperately hope i don't catch it.

I didn't have a runny nose at the start. It was the 24 hour sweaty fever that started it all.

I had it - still have got it a bit in fact, bloody nasty. My throat felt like it'd been torn, hundred degree temperature, nosebleeds, joint aches and I was up most nights coughing up a mixture of blood and phlegm - lovely.

Went back to work today after a couple of days off with Bronchitis last week, feel a lot better now though although still bad cough. First sick days for nearly three years. Theres a lot of this around.
