Nearly finished.

I did see Lord B and Roz out yesterday claiming that they were only just starting but they looked very relaxed about it.

Wild horses couldn't drag me into Brighton today or tomorrow. Nope, for once I'm all done n' dusted. Knocking off in about an hour, then straight down the pub for the afternoon.

Shoreham of course
Don't go to Holmbush unless you are prepared to come out with battle wounds.

When have you ever seen Lord B in a state of panic?

Been up to holmbush the last 2 days, got to go there again tomorrow early to get alot of the fresh veg. My parents won't go up there on xmas eve so I have to do it. I will go armed with all the battle gear.

I was there last night at about 6. The fire engines were at the petrol station as I gather someone had driven into one of the pumps :jester:

Anyhoo, it wasn't quite the scrum I'd anticipated. It WAS pretty crowded obviously, but nowhere near as bad as I thought it'd be. Queues were ok - only 2 people in front of me at the till, all quite managable. However - today and tomorrow will probably be a completely different kettle of fish. I wouldn't touch Holmbush with a shitty stick now.

anyone see that programme last night about blokes and christmas presents presented by Eddie Edmunson. Quite funny , basically saying as we are hunters we leave to last minute and generally get rubbish presents as opposed to women who are gatherers and take there time . . . . just about right I reckon although Ive ony got 1 to get which I'll do now , then off about 3 down the boozer . ave it

Not bought Mrs Pasty a single present yet. Am doing it all in one foul swoop tomorrow morning. It's organised like a military campaign. What I'm buying, where I'm buying it, and the shortest smartest route round the town.

There we go. Piece of piss. In town at 10 this morning. 100% success rate on Mrs P's list, and back home at 1230.

Going for it again from 1st Jan. I've just finished reading the Alan Carr book and it advises setting a "stop smoking day" about one week ahead. the book made a lot of sense and I'm convinced I'm going to succeed this time. Looking forward to spending the £1800 a year I currently spend on fags on something more worthwhile..........................beer probably
