The sooner Greene King gain control of Harvey's the better.
Miles Jenner has said "over his dead body". I see no reason for Harveys to sell, they're doing OK - plenty of NSCers keeping them afloat
As for cider with ice, that's just a whisker away from drinking WKD

Lets be honest, Greene King would at least get Harveys on the map and getting it away from the Ouse might improve the taste.

Thanks UB, it took me 7 minutes on my etch-a-sketch, thats 6 minutes longer that they took to knock up the 1st logo.
And how are we going to explain to fellow fans on our travels what the phuck 1st means, where as the Harveys brand is known worldwide!

I didn't know the exact state of their finances, but you don't think a networth of £29m for a small brewery is doing OK? They don't claim to be a big player - just a small local brewer. Time was when that was enough.
Harveys is solvent and profitable - that means that there's no impetus to sell. Just because they're small, it doesn't mean that they have to be taken over.
