In the last few minutes Sky Sports have learnt that Harry Renknapp is leaving spurs. Meanwhile David Moyes is the odds on favourite to take the job, and one bookie has already suspended betting. Bloody hell Sky, keep up.

Also, breaking news from Sky: Harry took over while Spurs were bottom, and they've had two 4th placed finishes, one 5th place, and won the FA cup. News to me.

Don't you mean his Dogs Monaco account?

Ah yes - dear old Rosie's bank account - yet another of Harry's wide boy stories to the High court, along with his 'I'm illiterate so don't know nuffink about any player contracts or bungs from agents' etc. I still feel there is enough in the reports that he and his mate Storrie should be doing a bit of porridge.

I think Daniel Levy has played a blinder, he trusted Harry who let him down. Then rather than sack Harry at the end of the season Levy hoped to get a sizeable compensation fron the FA if Harry got the England job (God forbid) but now that has evaporatedand Harry has now criticised the Spurs board Levy has done the right thing.

Harry for Pompey.....they deserve each other.

If I was Dave Jones at Sheffield Wednesday I'd be watching my back closely for the next few months...

Will he buy AFC Bounemouth?

No chance, they're owned by some mad Russian these days. Redknapp lives for the limelight, which he wouldn't get as a chairman or CEO.

He'll need to ask his dog for a sub until the end of the month.

Interesting to see the speculation of potential new managers at The Lane. Would Moyes fancy the Spurs job or vice versa - always thought he might go to Man U or north of the border?

Plus would Spurs take a punt on Martinez - I know he is well thought of but after all he has only ever saved Wigan, not really operated at the highest level. OK he is young, probably cheaper than some candidates and might 'do a job' but suspect Spurs would be more ambitious. especially if Harry got the sack for not getting Spurs into the Champs Lge. Maybe someone with experience in Europe who would also make the big name players want to stay at Spurs. As a neutral I like the thought of Klinsmann but supposedly he isn't keen on relocating.

Would be amazed if they seriously looked at Gus, it feels too soon for him - so good for us.

Moyes is almost a certainty to be approached first. He's only got a year left (talented and cheap? A Levy special) on his contract and has shown he can do a great job with a limited budget, as well as finding great value in signings. Beyond him, the options for Spurs look worryingly thin. I still think if this was done immediately after the season ended, Brendan Rodgers would have got the job.

I think that Vilas Boas fits their bill and could well be in the running.

Good call, could be something in that. AVB certainly ticks many boxes - but IMHO also fits into the rather eccentric type of manager that Spurs have a recent history of appointing. Might be wary of his man management skills, doesn't seem a strong character and he was too easily undermined by the dressing room at the Bridge.

Would Spurs be willing to afford someone like Hiddink or Benitez, if available?

Moyes is a no-brainer decision for both parties. I expect the deal to be done swiftly.

Now that Sky have confirmed that he has left and he says he wants to stay in football where will he go and which manager will be looking over their shoulders? Would you do straight swap with Gus if it was offered as I am sure that TB would control his spending. i think that I would take that and I am sure TB would also.
