Following on from his continued stalling of the Blayney deal, which of the following options most characterises Saints boss Harry Redknapp?

1) Loveable chirpy Cockney geezer, the sort of bloke who adds character to football

2) Whining relegation specialist who never fails to blame others for his own poor management

3) Dodgy shyster used car salesman

4) Attention seeking publicity-meister who couldn't manage a bun fight in a branch of Forfars without spending millions on overpaid foreigners and then conveniently forgetting about them when they turn out to be crap or sulk off back to Croatia?

*really should have done this as a poll...

After what McGhee said at the forum about him, he pisses me off even more.

He can't stand the thought of having a squad of less than 50 player.

Number 1, if he don't want to sell 1 of his players really his decision isn't it. Not going to help another team unless he gets something for it

I believe No.4

Portsmouth got alot of crap amongst the good players he brought in

and the less said about West Ham, and Marco Boogers, the better

What I find odd is the fuss he kicked up at Pompey about having his "dear friend" Jim Smith alongside him but at Saints once daddy Rupert says he's gotta go, off he goes, no fight. In fact I read that Smith hadn't even spoken to Redknapp about it, he was just sacked as a cost cutting measure and that was that. Then they go and hire Clive Woodward.

Now considering old 'Arry was prepared to walk out on Portsmouth if he didn't get his own way over Smith, why has he suddenly changed his tune and decided to leave Smith out in the cold this time without so much as a press conference?

Some loyalty.

He has only be relegated with one side and he only took over half way into the season so two is a load of cack

Damn right. Whatever else he is, he's clearly not a relegation specialist.

I reckon he's number 3; he's a like a character from Minder, the sort who's got some dodgy deal going with Arthur and Terry's sent over to sort him out. It all goes belly-up; Arthur ends up being questioned by Chisholm while 'Appy 'Arry walks away with Arthur's money ready to put one over on someone else.
