Pork pie land.
It is possible, but I really don't believe it.

I don't get how fan's expectations are so high! There seems to be a camp with people like Pork Pie in it expecting us to be in the Premiership in 3/4 seasons! This is such a tough league to get out of, just ask Leeds United and look at how much money they've thrown at it! And they've got a huge stadium and had (for this league anyway) top class managers and players.

I hate to say it but I expect to be in this league for another 2/3 seasons. I don't think we can financially match teams like Southampton, Norwich, Huddersfield and Charlton etc, and we really don't seem to have the patience to build a team like Scunthorpe or Southend. I really hope I'm wrong but that's how I see it.

That is an exageration. However, I do think that the real fans who have been suffering for years under Tight and his cronies can see a bright future ahead (in fairness partly because Tight kept the flame alive for a while). Who has even mentioned the Prem in 3/4 years? As I understand it, the objective is to get into the CHAMPIONSHIP within two years, consolidate there into a top-half of the table team - and then push on from there, with an expectation of spells in Premiership. That is all I expect. And I must say, if Tony Bloom has the money to do it - then great.

It is really no different to the likes of Doncaster, Colchester, Scunthorpe and other small clubs getting to the Championship is it? Or Hull getting into the Premiership.

No, it isn't is it!?

Look at some of the dross Knight appointed.

Hopefully, Tony Bloom will find us a top quality Manager, who is able of to bring about his, and my, wished to see Brighton & Hove Albion play at a higher level without being the whipping boys, and one we can be proud to support again!

You do spout some nonsense.

Dick Knight appointed dross:

Steve Coppell
Adams-first time
Mark McGhee
Peter Taylor
Brian Horton
Dean Wilkins (in hindsight)

Yep-total dross:shootself
