It was pretty good. Hard Fi were better than I thought they would be. I would of rated them higher if their lead singer stopped screaming 'Alright BRIIIGGGHHTAAAAANNN? Friday night in BRIIIGGGHHTAAAAANNN' after every song.

Hard to Beat and Living for the weekend were great.

Coxon wasn't as good as his gig down the Concorde, but was better than his support at the Kaiser Chiefs.

Boy Kill Boy were fantastic, I'm going to sort me out some tickets, for when they play at the Corn Exchange in October!

Coxon is COOL but lacks charisma and his songs do not get projected as well as his work did with Blur because of the lack of Albarn.

Hard-Fi are MAINSTREAM rubbish.

Went along just for the support acts last night! Boy Kill Boy were great, Graham Coxon was excellent.

The ticket was free, so all is good.

I think that sums it up perfectly, about Hard-fi and Boy Kill Boy and Graham Coxon.

I was there in my stripes (after dress down day at work).

Not bad, apart from the first warm-up were TOSS!!! Boy Kill Boy sounded alright, and Graham Coxon sounds like Joe Pasquale when he talks.

Did like the monitors during Cash Machine, but as usual the acousitcs of the Brighton Centre let it down.

Last summer and autumn I played Stars Of CCTV constantly. I saw them at The Concorde last November, when they were still on the way up and had a sense of urgency about them, and they were stunning.

When the current tour was announced and I saw the size and type of venue they were playing I had my doubts that they could pull it off. I wasn't sure how songs about boredom and alienation would sound in an arena context. Given that they've had six months to reflect on their escape from suburban hell I had a feeling that the whole thing would seem phoney and I wasn't wrong. Luckily for most of the audience, this wasn't a problem and the band were happy to encourage lots of hands-in-the-air stuff.

Richard Archer's "Friday night in Brightaaaan!" was strange the first time and really f***ing annoying the fifth or sixth time. As was the whole "You're the best/loudest/rocking-est/whatever audience of the tour" bollocks. Does anyone still actually fall for that? But who cares anyway? Now their album's in the Top 10 they can afford to be crass. Hard-Fi have made the transition from club venue to basketball court and they've made it look fairly easy. The only way is down.

'Better Do Better' was song of the night for me personally.

Was it just me or did they gradually improve throughout the set, like Middle Eastern Holiday and Gotta Reason sounded f***ing shit but it sort of got better after that. Didn't think much of them live though to be honest but it was a decent show. I went for the support really anyway and Boy Kill Boy, as always, were top-notch and Coxon was okay. Yeah, it was a good night.
