So do I! I appreciate a few may have an excuse to leave early, but the ones who don't and disrupt others by walking in front of them and obstructing their view really annoy me. I also think it's disrespectful to do so. Would those same people walk out before the end of a film or a concert? I suspect they wouldn't be very popular if they did! The "I paid my money I'm entitled to" doesn't wash with me!

Serve them right for missing the goal!

I don't think you appreciate that the people who leave early obviously have very good reasons for doing so. There's the National Lottery "In It to Win It" show, and that thing with Phil Tufnell in as well. And today I saw a cloud over the sports centre that could have turned VERY nasty at any minute - it was only by grace of a fair wind that they wern't walking home in the shade or even (gulp) a shower of rain.

Those two or three minutes before the end of the game can be the difference between a glorious Saturday evening, or the entire weekend being ruined. Try to have a bit of consideration for our premature friends.

I seem to recall three seasons ago when we played Stoke at home in an evening match the same thing happened. The game had 0-0 written all over it but Paul Watson scored in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

Moral of the story ? KEEP THE FAITH !

I have to admit that I have only ever left early at 2 games, and they were both last season.

Away to Brentford (I left at 0-3, and mercifully missed the 4th goal), and home to Bristol City. Both pretty justifiable, but I agree it's not something to be made a habit of.

I learnt when super sub Fred Binney used came on - we always seemed to score in the last minute....(echoes of .."who?")

Takes me 2.5 hours to get to withdean so what's an extra 10 minutes stuck in traffic...err I mean in the pub.

I will never understand the early leavers....

From my position from the northstand I could see a steady stream of people all leaving. I mean, not just waiting down the bottom, actually leaving.

Makes you wonder how many park close...why leave early if you've only got to wait for the bus.
