Dear NSC what knows everything.

Can you take an electric shaver in your hand luggage, when flying?

Thanks.

As someone who works in the aviation industry the answer is 100% yes providing its not one of the old style cut throat razors for obvious reasons.

My neice works on security at Heathrow and her answer was that there is no definite answer yes or no it is dependant on the security officer on the gate so to be safe dont take it put it in your case in the hold.

Flown numerous times from Heathrow this year with an electric razor in hand luggage never had a problem, but a bottle of water now there's a different story a lethal weapon!
