Halifax manager Chris Wilder will enjoy the luxury of a near full-strength squad as they bid to return to the League after a four-year absence.

Defender Greg Young is their only casualty as he is still sidelined with a dislocated shoulder.

Chris Wilder will be hoping to get Halifax back into the league.

Hereford United manager Graham Turner has no new injury or suspension worries ahead of the Conference play-off final at Leicester's Walkers Stadium.

The sole absentee will be defender Tony James, who has a groin problem.

Hereford for me as I was one of the sad bastards that trekked to 'The Shag (sorry Shay)' in 2001 just to see the game called off 45 minutes before kick off as three hours rain had waterlogged the pitch.

The fact that a schoolboy rugby match had been played on it 24 hours earlier had a whole lot to do with it. Sod 'em.

Used to know a Halifax fan and he was a nice bloke. Reminded me of Danny Wilson. I'll have to go for them.

Couldn't get a ticket but yes I did hear about that. Still you could hardly expect a love in as we'd just sent them out of the league.

I had to be hidden in the Hereford KFC for my own safety then get a police escort back to my hotel.

I don't see how you can call a Super Leage game schoolboy, i watched it that night, and even if the rugby hadn't of been played the chances were that our match wouldn't of gone ahead anyway, as there was surface water everywhere.

Still Halifax to win today:clap:

Hereford,i just happen to think it is important for the game to be played at league level as far and wide as possible. Yes i was at Hereford in 97,Yes nasty scenes, but this is the biggest prize in football league status.:albion:

Way out west
Halifax for me, Hereford is a nice "friendly" derby game for Forest Green, added to Exeter and Oxford it should be interesting next season.
