In my opinion, these lads have had their day, a bit of glory, 2 titles in the b ag, they no longer have the will or passion to fight for it, ship em out.

To be replaced by whom?

And with what?

Or we could always play the entire youth team instead/

its a bad start to the season, people seem to want instant success these days. Face it, we are back in Div2 playing Div2 style football, until SC realises and says "pass it around on the deck" then all the players will look out of place.

The team does need a change. We could do with a new face or two just to stir things up a bit.

I reckon they realised last year they weren't good enough for division one, the one player who was has gone, they don't fancy getting back there either.

One bonus of not going straight back up will be to get Falmer sorted out, until then i reckon we are better off staying in Division 2. what with the outgoings of playing in Division one.

That is harsh - after all these players have won div 2 before, maybe we are lacking the experience we had that season, with morgan and rogers both retiring? We haven't any money so i don't see how we can get any players in!

Ah! I see what you're getting at now!

But tell me, how would sending half the team for a vasectomy improve their football?

Perhaps SC could threaten them with it, if they don't improve :lolol:

agreed, and Coppell knows it too from the following quote:

“It was one of those games. It was 100mph in the first half and you could see that both teams wanted to do well and win the game. But nobody really had a chance to put their foot on the ball and try and pass it around – it was just so quick.

“The second half seemed to be settling down a bit more and I thought it was just beginning to suit us and we were just beginning to string a few passes together when the goal came. I thought that we looked more promising at that stage.

“After the goal however, we were back to the fast and frenetic stuff.”

Calm down Goring, that is just the sort of kneejerk reaction that gets clubs in trouble.

The Adams philosophy worked pretty well, where he looked for a nucleus of players who had won promotion before from the division we were playing in. ERm, that means THESE are the players we want and need.

Yes there needs to be some fine tuning, and the style of play needs to be to feet, but wholesale changes would be a disaster.
