Half Term report

My half term report on the 'newbees' to the club would read something like this;

Smith - could'nt have written a worse script to his start if you'd tried ... E

Hoyte - Where is the potential gone that Mr Wenger see's ... needs to improve. D

Tunnicliffe - Average start, improvement very much needed ... C-

Wright - few appearances in a faltering back line that says it all ... C-

Navarro - In and out of team, consistency needed ... C-

Crofts - workman of the side, should also improve ... B-

Dicker - Good form from loan spell from last season not as yet seen ... C

Dickinson - large fee not justified as yet ... C-

Bennett - good pace & skill, real potential, shining light so far ... B+

Smith- We expected so much due to his past, he's produced so little- F

Hoyte- Again, we were promised so much of an Arsenal youngster that Wenger seems to think highly of, but hasn't produced- D-

Tunnicliffe- Our best defender so far this season IMO, which isn't the highest accolade, but he's showing a lot of potential- B

Wright- Didn't impress me in his few appearances- should be given a chance, but i think he'll be shipped out in January- C-

Navarro- Came with a good reputation from MK Dons, but has proven himself lazy, unfit and a bit useless. Breaks down play fairly well, and gives Dicker a licence to push on, but other than that, does nothing. He is the Lucas of Brighton- D-

Crofts- I didn't expect all that much of him, but he's proven himself to be a strong, consistent leader this season- B+

Dicker- Not quite the player he was on loan here last season, but remains a pivotol part of the squad- C

Dickinson- We've seen glimpses of why we paid such a large fee for him, but not consistently. His diving and inability to jump is really getting on my nerves- D

Bennett- A player we've been lacking for years, with pace, skills and superb in dead ball situations. I'm hoping we can keep hold of him for long enough to see his full potential- A
