Try withdean stadium. I go there a couple of times a week. Its quite small but its ok.

I'd recommend Withdean too. It's not massive, but there's a load of Nautilus equipment in there, plus you get included use of I think four other facilities such as the Stanley Deason and the Prince Regent. Forty quid I think it is at the moment. you might even be able to just pay by the session once you've done the induction course. Plus you get an excellent view over the pitch so you can have a nosey at all the latest building works. If you're very tight, you could probably watch the matches from there...

dont want to rub anything in but up here in manc i pay £100 for a 9 month student gym membership-brand new gym too and if you want to use the pool facilities it £1.35 a shot-not bad really....

you are benefitting from the exchange rates of the northern pound! also you pay less as at the end of the day you still have to stay in North
