An unusual approach to sorting out creative and goalscoring issues is to sign 3 defenders and a goalie

I didn't realise the club can only be trying to secure one signing at a time, rather than negotiating multiple deals of which some will take a bit longer

Greer only lasted 10 minutes on Saturday.
Is that a reason for a quick fix....

The crying need for an additional centre back has been evident since before last season ended. Surprised we weren't linked to either Matt Mills or Alex Pearce, either would have been a lot more preferable to Demel.

If we were looking for an old experienced defender, that's played in the Premier League, has lots of international experience and can play right back and centre back we should have looked at Aaron Hughes...

Never bothered by full-backs over 30. They're often the most able ones.

That doesnt work eg Kevin Keegan and Newcastle and West Ham for many seasons and to an extent Tottenham over recent years.

Why did Man U not win the title it was not for lack of goals.

We are the opposite though.

Our defence was pretty sound last season, we have already strengthened it this summer.

We Need to create chances & score goals, hence the need for attacking players.

Shame he did not stay he was great. Sheff Utd would be good as he could take them up and he is too good for below the championship in my opinion.
