Last season, this fat oaf was an apology for a footballer.

This year, I, along with other fans owe him an apology. He looks a completely different player and seems to be getting fitter and more athletic with every game.

Well done Mr Butters, long may you keep it up. Maybe you could fill the Simon Morgan type role this season and for a couple more.

at 34 he aint got 2 more years in him I dont think, but a solid performance this season would be fantastic. He's doing a great job at the moment 'cos Cullip at times looks out of sorts and Butters is there to clean up.

Taxi?

Taxi for Krabappel?

To be honest he is very basic, he just gets in the way of the ball but he is doing a competant job and let's hope he can keep it up until Blackwell gets back.

I don't think he is owed an apology by anyone for any stick he got last season, he didn't help himself with that interview in The Anus when he admitted food was his favourite pasttime and he struggled with his weight.

xx

True, but I've had far too much abuse already over this subject, so I thought I'd get that in before anyone else did....

He's an adequate/good 2nd division defender. He did (and will) struggle in the first.

being a professional footballer and being @ 2 stone overweight was unacceptable- even if he was only in gillinghams reserves he should have taken better care of himself

however he seems to have got it sorted and good luck to him, we need him to play well this season
