Hmm when he decided Caciedo was a decent player? it all changed with his introduction. Potters own admission to be fair.
At the end of the day, yes it is players that win football matches. Undoubtedly absences have had a huge impact this season - doesn’t matter what your tactics are without the right players or players in form.

Caicedo sold to Chelsea for £115 million.

Leonard being eyed up by Preston and Plymouth.

I could take a photo of a seagull and sell it to Boehly for £30m. But ok I think you are just going to keep invent not very well founded arguments along the way just to be right and conversations on those premises never work well so Ill just tell you youre right while secretly looking forward to Marcs amazing Albion career

Manager makes adjustments to the team, brings in new players at the right time, with spectacularly successful upturn in form and results. Yes, I think that's normally defined as a manager doing his job, and doing it very well.

Or maybe he was just lucky, like Klopp, Pep, Ferguson, Venger and co.

Yeah thanks Graham for the one home win in a year what excitement I wish he had gone sooner tbh.

Money over the good of the club again, it’s how we roll.
He knows the project we sell everyone who’s any good 🤣

Obviously ,he selects Steele over the current Dutch international keeper and f***ed us out of two competitions within a week of each other.
Having a pop at Potter, Bloom and RDZ all on the same thread.

Not sure you’ll ever be happy.

Yes and No you have to wonder how Leicester ever got relegated when you look at the the performances of KDH, Madison and Barnes. All three would probably be very welcome in most PL squads. I believe we’ve dropped off because the coach has dropped off. You can only use injuries as an excuse for so long. Newcastle practically had a championship defence out today and still won.

Newcastle finished top 4 last season, and are with us struggling for top 10 this season. Both squads struggled with PL and european football and injuries. Your point is not well made.

Oh do we have to be all happy rainbows have no opinion about anything & happy clap our way in life? Well that’s not me. I’m happy when we win of course aren’t we all. Can take a loss if it’s justified sure no problem anything else is fair game in the football world and always has been a talking point.

Haha that’s not me either.

I do have the ability to look at the bigger picture though.

We’re still very much in the fight for top 7. Newcastle are 1 pt above us. How on earth can missing your best players for long periods, selling your best players, not really replacing them - be just an excuse, when you’re still top half and challenging for Europe??

On 2 April 2022 we drew 0-0 at home to an awful Norwich team, in almost 7 months we’d won just 3 PL games, we very rarely scored. [This was the last game before Caicedo at The Emirates]. I found this pertinent thread.

https://www.northstandchat.com/thre...ed-as-a-premier-league-manager.393871/page-12

The debate appeared to be why we were bloody awful at scoring. Slow, predictable build up play from Potter, or inept ACM’s/forwards due to Bloom.

Beleba will become a very good player then the club will be happy because they can sell him.

I wonder how many teams he thinks don’t sell their great players? Especially when those players make it clear they want to leave and move on.

I can understand getting frustrated with things in the club, but this is something that happens everywhere and is far from particular to Brighton.
